Change becomes tangible in ordinary life.

“Kaiut Yoga has given me comfort, healing and hope for a healthier future.”
Steve, 74
“Kaiut, however, has changed that story. I’ve been at it for about six months and going strong.”
David, 64, after a 40-year search for help with recurring back trouble

01

Many students begin later

You do not need flexibility or a floor routine. Tell Renae what is happening today.

02

Start with a conversation

Come early with injuries, surgeries, balance concerns, and clinical limits. Renae sets each position individually.

03

Support is normal

Chairs, tables, blocks, bolsters, and walls are all used. Each person has their own setup.

04

Use a first class

Check whether you can follow, settle, and ask questions. Three classes or two unlimited weeks cost $45.

Start with the question that brought you here.

These are the questions people bring when pain, stiffness, stress, or lost mobility has started shaping daily life. The answers begin with what Kaiut students experience, then connect those outcomes to the practice and the research.

Question 01

Can I start yoga in my seventies with no experience?

Starting at seventy with no yoga history is the normal way people arrive here. You do not need flexibility, a mat habit, or a way down to the floor. Renae starts you at a height that works, explains every position, and gives you time to settle before anything changes. The next useful step is to experience the method in the room. The $45 introduction gives you three classes or two unlimited weeks to notice what changes when the body receives this kind of time, support, and attention.

Question 02

Do I need to be flexible to start?

Flexibility is not an admission requirement. A massage table or chair can raise the starting point, a bolster can carry weight, and the range can become smaller. The useful first-class question is whether the setup lets you listen and respond clearly, not whether your body matches somebody else's shape.

Question 03

What happens in a first class if I have never done yoga?

You do not need pose names, a memorized sequence, or previous class experience. Renae explains where the mat and props go before asking the room to move. Being able to ask a question, watch a position, or take a smaller route matters more than arriving with yoga knowledge.

Question 04

Will I be the oldest or least experienced person in the room?

Regular classes can be attended in the South Austin room or live online. Online students need a stable device and a camera angle wide enough for the setup to be understood. In-room students have massage tables, chairs, walls, blocks, bolsters, and Renae nearby. The current schedule identifies the available format.

Question 05

What if I cannot get down to the floor?

You do not have to get down to the floor to begin. Tell Renae before class if kneeling, standing, balance, or using a mobility aid is uncertain. She can begin the progression at a massage table or chair and use the floor only when that route is workable for you.

Question 06

How do I book a first class at Kaiut Yoga Austin?

Open the live schedule, choose a realistic class time, then use the pricing page to choose three classes or two unlimited weeks for $45. Arrive early for the first visit so you can find the room and tell Renae about injuries, surgeries, balance concerns, or movement restrictions before class becomes quiet.

The evidence supports movement, function, and quality of life.

These studies tested yoga programs rather than Kaiut Yoga Austin specifically. They strengthen the case for practice while the student stories above show what people have experienced with this method.
