Change becomes tangible in ordinary life.

“In just a few months of attending Kaiut Yoga classes, I’ve experienced a decrease in tightness and an increase in range of motion in my neck, hips, and toes. This makes everything I do easier and more comfortable.”
Kaiut student
“I have never felt so good in the way my body moves than I did after this class.”

01

A hip can stop making every decision

Hip pain can choose the chair, the side you sleep on, the length of a walk, and whether you get to the floor. Kaiut gives the joint a patient progression so those decisions can begin to open again.

02

The feet, pelvis, and spine share the work

The method does not isolate the hip from the rest of the body. A foot position can change the pelvis, a supported knee can change the hip, and the spine can reveal how the whole pattern has organized itself.

03

Asymmetry is information

One hip may need more height, less range, or a different angle. Matching the two sides is not the goal. Renae uses what each side reports to make the position more precise.

04

Look for life becoming easier

Students report less hip tension and greater range that changes ordinary movement. Getting into a car, rising from a chair, turning in bed, or walking without guarding are more meaningful measures than how far a pose travels.

Start with the question that brought you here.

These are the questions people bring when pain, stiffness, stress, or lost mobility has started shaping daily life. The answers begin with what Kaiut students experience, then connect those outcomes to the practice and the research.

Question 01

Can yoga help with hip pain?

Kaiut students report less hip tension, greater range of motion, and easier movement in daily life. Renae can change the angle, height, support, and starting position so the hip is invited into movement without being forced into somebody else’s shape. Research on yoga has also found meaningful improvements in several related areas, including chronic low-back-pain function, knee-arthritis pain and stiffness, chronic neck pain, older-adult mobility, sleep quality, and anxiety symptoms. The research section below shows the evidence most relevant to this question.

Question 02

Can a yoga class explain what causes chronic hip pain?

Kaiut does not reduce hip pain or hip restriction to one muscle or one tight spot. The method works with the feet, hips, pelvis, spine, shoulders, and gait because a restriction in one area can reorganize movement elsewhere. Renae responds to how sensation changes in the position rather than assigning a diagnosis from a yoga theory.

Question 03

What should I ask before trying yoga with hip pain?

The useful Kaiut-specific facts are visible in class: the pace is unhurried, a massage table or chair can raise the starting point, props change support and distance, and a position can be reduced or omitted. Research about yoga in general cannot prove what this method will do for hip pain or hip restriction or predict an individual result.

Question 04

When do students begin to notice changes?

Kaiut students report less hip tension, greater range of motion, and easier movement in daily life. Renae can change the angle, height, support, and starting position so the hip is invited into movement without being forced into somebody else’s shape. The next useful step is to experience the method in the room. The $45 introduction gives you three classes or two unlimited weeks to notice what changes when the body receives this kind of time, support, and attention.

Question 05

Where can I try Kaiut Yoga for hip pain in Austin?

Kaiut Yoga Austin teaches inside Lizard Yoga at 2919 Menchaca Road, Suite 104a, in South Austin. Check the live schedule before leaving home because class times and remaining places can change. New students book through the current pricing and schedule pages, not through an old search result or saved timetable.

Question 06

What should I tell the teacher before class?

Tell Renae where you feel the restriction, which movements change it, what feels familiar, and what feels new. During class, say whether sensation settles, builds, moves, or changes with support. That information lets her adjust the height, angle, range, or position while the class is happening.

The evidence supports movement, function, and quality of life.

These studies tested yoga programs rather than Kaiut Yoga Austin specifically. They strengthen the case for practice while the student stories above show what people have experienced with this method.
