Change becomes tangible in ordinary life.

“I’ve been practicing Kaiut yoga with Renae for over five years and it has allowed me to improve resilience and mobility in ways I haven’t found with other yoga methods.”

01

End the workday before starting class

A rushed drive from a screen to the mat can carry the pace of work into the room. Close the laptop, allow time for Menchaca Road, and arrive early enough to notice what the day left behind.

02

The class does not reduce the body to posture

Shoulders, eyes, feet, hips, and breathing may all feel different after hours at a desk. Kaiut Yoga does not assume one sitting position caused a symptom. It offers a sequence where those areas can be noticed separately.

03

Let support change the demand

Much of the hour uses stable, supported positions with fewer coordination demands than a flow class. A massage table, chair, block, or bolster can change the distance a joint travels. You can move out before stiffness turns into a contest.

04

Change the week outside the studio too

A yoga class is one hour. Workstation questions, persistent pain, vision strain, and repeated headaches may need attention from the appropriate professional. Do not ask the class to carry every consequence of a demanding work routine.

Start with the question that brought you here.

These are the questions people bring when pain, stiffness, stress, or lost mobility has started shaping daily life. The answers begin with what Kaiut students experience, then connect those outcomes to the practice and the research.

Question 01

What should desk workers know before using yoga for pain?

The useful Kaiut-specific facts are visible in class: the pace is unhurried, a massage table or chair can raise the starting point, props change support and distance, and a position can be reduced or omitted. Research about yoga in general cannot prove what this method will do for moving after long hours at a desk or predict an individual result.

Question 02

How is Kaiut Yoga different from standing desk or ergonomics solutions?

A yoga class and an ergonomic change solve different problems. Desk height, breaks, workload, vision, and seating belong to the work environment. Kaiut provides a separate hour of slow movement. One should not be marketed as a substitute for assessing the other.

Question 03

When is the best time in the day for a desk worker to do Kaiut Yoga?

Students who spend long hours at a desk report releasing physical tension through Kaiut Yoga. The practice gives the hips, spine, shoulders, feet, and nervous system a very different hour from the one they have spent at a screen. The next useful step is to experience the method in the room. The $45 introduction gives you three classes or two unlimited weeks to notice what changes when the body receives this kind of time, support, and attention.

Question 04

Do I need to be flexible or physically fit to start Kaiut Yoga?

Flexibility is not an admission requirement. A massage table or chair can raise the starting point, a bolster can carry weight, and the range can become smaller. The useful first-class question is whether the setup lets you listen and respond clearly, not whether your body matches somebody else's shape.

Question 05

How is a slow class different from recovery treatment?

Regular yoga is not one thing. A hot class, neighborhood flow, restorative hour, and alignment class ask for different coordination, heat tolerance, balance, and pace. Kaiut's clearest differences are fewer linked transitions, longer observation, and ordinary use of massage tables, chairs, walls, and props.

Question 06

Where is the South Austin studio?

Kaiut Yoga Austin teaches inside Lizard Yoga at 2919 Menchaca Road, Suite 104a, in South Austin. Check the live schedule before leaving home because class times and remaining places can change. New students book through the current pricing and schedule pages, not through an old search result or saved timetable.
